Hi! I'm Allan Feldman, a senior @ Brandeis University in Waltham, MA, double majoring in Economics and Near Eastern Studies (Arabic concentration).
• I'm interested in econometrics, the interaction between public policy and firm-growth + labor market conditions, political economy, and international relations. Passionate about doing work that helps people and firms.
• My past work and research experiences have focused on transportation, labor markets, intellectual property, and resource economics.
• I spent five months as an exchange student @ American University in Cairo where I worked as an economic RA, research intern, and improved my Arabic. I also spent a month in Morocco beforehand.
• A lot of my time has also been dedicated to cycling and transportation advocacy at the university, municipal and state levels. This has taught me a lot about the necessity of public and private entities working together to solve issues, which guides my approach to larger real-world change.
• Outside of work, I like traveling, running, and cycling (I write about my endurance sports here). I've ran everything from the 1600m to a full marathon; I've competed in cyclocross, road, and track cycling, but enjoy coffee shop rides with friends the most. I've biked the state of Florida and the Nile Delta.

• Conducted economic research on the Egyptian labor market with Dr. Mona Said.
• Researched the cotton sector at a development economic firm (Enroot) in Cairo, Egypt.
• Led a $10,000 project to educate Egyptian women about automobile repair and mobility empowerment.
